Opening

A first look at what we’re opening, what’s ready, and what comes next

TOGETHER opened Level 1 in mid-April 2026.

That sentence is simple. What it represents is not.

For the better part of two years, a space that existed as a set of decisions, a floor plan, a belief about what venues in the City of London should be capable of, has been becoming real. The team has been making choices about how rooms are configured, how food is sourced and cooked, how briefings get written and actually used, how impact gets measured and reported. In mid-April, all of those choices face their first real test.

The space

Level 1 of 88 Wood Street is built around three distinct spaces, each with its own character and use.

The Pavilion is the main conference floor: 385m², divisible into three separate rooms (Pavilion 01, 02, and 03), and capable of running as a single space for up to 500 in theatre or 270 in cabaret. A 9 metre LED wall and fully integrated AV run throughout.

The Collective is a 236m² event space for plenary sessions, workshops, and group dinners. It seats up to 300 in theatre and 130 for banquets.

The Gallery is 450m² and designed for exhibition, networking, and large receptions. Used alongside the Collective, the two spaces combine to approximately 686m² of flexible event and hospitality floor.

Natural light reaches the entire floor. The building was designed by Richard Rogers, whose work includes the Pompidou Centre in Paris.

Each space works independently. As part of a continuous floor, they give event organisers something most City venues do not: genuine flexibility in how the day is built and how its different parts relate to each other.

The operation behind it

A space is only as good as what runs inside it.
TOGETHER operates an in-house kitchen. This is a deliberate decision, not an inherited one. In-house means the kitchen knows the day’s programme. It means menus are built around traceable sourcing. It means food waste is managed properly because production is calibrated to the actual event, not to a volume estimate. It means lunch is worth eating.

Caravan supplies the coffee. A roastery with a hospitality background and direct relationships with producers. The coffee service is briefed alongside the rest of the operation. It knows when sessions end and when breaks need to be ready.

AV infrastructure is built into the space. Audio, display, connectivity: designed to disappear into the day rather than be troubleshot during it. The standard is that a presenter connects in under thirty seconds. Anything more complicated than that is the venue’s problem to solve before the event begins.

Impact measurement is built in through OneTribe, a platform that calculates the carbon footprint of each event individually. Every client receives a post-event report: carbon generated, breakdown by source, offset cost. Not an estimate based on industry averages. A specific number tied to their specific day.

What opening actually means

An opening is not just a date. It is the moment a set of ideas about how things should work meets reality.

The briefing process holds or it does not. The kitchen produces food that matches what was planned, or it does not. The AV works the way it was designed to, or it does not. The people running the day make good decisions under pressure, because the clients in the room are depending on it.

Everything TOGETHER has said about being a human-first venue, about the quality of what happens in these rooms, about the relationship between space and the quality of the work that happens inside it, gets tested from the first event.

That is not something to be nervous about. It is the point of building the thing properly.

What comes next

Club 88 on Level 12 opens in September 2026. A different kind of space, designed for a different kind of event and a different audience, drawing on what Level 1 establishes and adding to it.

For now, the attention is on Level 1.

Why we chose 88 Wood Street

Every new business has a first location. For TOGETHER, that choice carried more weight than it would for most. The first venue is not just where you open.
