Head of Finance

Rigorous underneath. Confident growth depends on financial clarity. It’s what allows us to plan well, invest carefully and scale without losing what matters. We’re now looking for a Head of Finance to build that foundation with us.
As Head of Finance, you are responsible for the financial backbone of the business. As our first finance hire, you’ll sit close to the founders, shape how we scale, and bring rigour and clarity to decision-making across the company. This is a senior, hands-on role for someone equally comfortable in the detail and at board level, who understands the rhythms of operational hospitality.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead financial controls, reporting and cash flow management
- Build robust, scalable finance processes from the ground up
- Drive tech automation and finance operations efficiency
- Support strategic planning, scenario modelling and KPI tracking
- Act as a commercial partner to the leadership team, informing decisions across the business
- Develop the financial infrastructure that underpins our next phase of growth
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting and management reporting
- Manage relationships with auditors, banking partners and external advisors
About You
- Proven experience in a senior finance role, ideally with exposure to hospitality, events or growth-stage businesses
- Comfortable with ambiguity and energised by building from the ground up
- Equally confident in the detail and at board level
- Strong understanding of operational hospitality and what drives performance in the sector
- Commercially astute, with sharp judgement on cost, cash and margin
- Clear communicator who builds trust with founders, teams and external partners
- Someone who wants to be part of something, not just employed by it
