88 Wood Street was chosen in part because of what it already is: a building designed with environmental performance at its core.
What’s in place
All-electric air source heat pumps. No gas, no combustion on site. Energy and water use monitored continuously via building management systems. An EPC B rating pathway actively in progress. The building is targeting BREEAM In Use Excellent certification.
These aren’t retrofits. They’re part of the infrastructure.
The living wall
One of the largest living walls in the City, running the full height of our atrium. It produces approximately 140kg of oxygen and extracts approximately 105kg of carbon annually. It’s also the first thing guests see when they arrive. Sustainability doesn’t have to be invisible.
Sustainability
Through our partnership with One Tribe, a portion of every booking at TOGETHER contributes to indigenous-led rainforest conservation. The impact is tracked in real time and shown on our Live Impact Dashboard, visible onsite at 88 Wood Street.
This isn’t a donation. It’s a structure. Conservation built into the operating model.
Food and waste
Our food programme is designed around seasonal sourcing and responsible preparation. What isn’t served doesn’t go to waste. We work with food redistribution partners to ensure surplus food reaches people who need it rather than landfill.
What we measure
Our Live Impact Dashboard shows real-time data on the environmental performance of TOGETHER. Onsite, it’s displayed continuously. Online, it will be accessible here.
We measure what matters. We show it, whether the numbers are good or still improving.

What does TOGETHER do about carbon?
We work with One Tribe to offset our carbon. Rather than vague commitments, we use specific and measurable targets. The detail is on this page if you want to dig into the methodology.
How does TOGETHER approach sustainable sourcing?
We’re careful about where things come from. Our food is sourced responsibly – Caravan Coffee is one example of a partner chosen specifically because of how they operate, not just what they produce.
How does TOGETHER manage waste?
We work with Olio and Too Good To Go to redistribute surplus food rather than bin it. On the AV side, our LED walls mean we don’t produce single-use printed banners. Waste reduction is built into how we operate.
What certifications or standards does TOGETHER hold on Planet?
We don’t rely on broad certifications. Instead we publish specific, defensible commitments so you can see exactly what we’re doing on carbon, sourcing and waste – and hold us to it.
